June 2010: We are thrilled to announce that the Robert E. Lee CWRT has awarded Sickles at Gettysburg with the prestigious "Bachelder-Coddington" book award as the best Gettysburg book released during 2009. Thank you!
Sickles at Gettysburg is also a finalist in the Army Historical Foundation's Biography category for the 2009 Distinguished Writing Awards. Winners to be announced soon.
NEW: We will be signing books at the American History Store in Gettysburg on Saturday July 3, 2010 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Our last book signing in May was very well attended.

2010 has continued to be busy with Sickles promotional events and Gettysburg battlefield tours. Many thanks to the Delaware Valley CWRT, the Central Delaware CWRT, and the Lancaster CWRT for recently hosting us. We are taking a break during the summer to focus on Gettysburg battlefield tours, but more CWRTs are on the schedule for Fall 2010 and into 2011.

Our friend and prolific author Scott Mingus Sr. invited us to speak at the York Civil War Round Table on October 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Several friends were in attendance and a good Sickles discussion was had by all. Scott is the author of "Flames Beyond Gettysburg", Ten Roads' "Gettysburg Glimpses", and many other works.
