It was a remarkable Remembrance Day Weekend as Jim did signings at the American History Store, O'Rourke's Tavern, with the ALBG at Patriots Point and at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center. That's a lot of signing! It was great to see so many Civil War enthusiasts in town.

Jim would like to give a special thanks to those fellow Licensed Battlefield Guides and ALBG Associates who have supported Sickles at Gettysburg. Thanks!
Thanks to those who saw Jim Hessler at the National Civil War Museum on Sunday, November 8th. Jim spoke about Sickles and signed books. The National Civil War Museum is the only museum which portrays the entire story of the American Civil War. Plan your visit today. http://www.nationalcivilwarmuseum.org/index_1.php
A good time was had by all as we celebrated Dan Sickles' 190th birthday at the Gettysburg Museum of History. A special thanks to Ten Roads Publishing for their sponsorship of this fun-filled and unusual event.

Our friend and prolific author Scott Mingus Sr. invited us to speak at the York Civil War Round Table on October 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Several friends were in attendance and a good Sickles discussion was had by all. Scott is the author of "Flames Beyond Gettysburg", Ten Roads' "Gettysburg Glimpses", and many other works.
